Essential Responsibilities:

• Check appointment calendar and assure residents are ready for appointments.
• Coordinate with transpiration aid for resident appointments - make copies of resident’s current physician’s orders, progress sheets, and insurance cards (when appropriate); place and have ready to send with residents.
• Monitor front door and assist residents and visitors
• Answer facility telephone when necessary.
• Keep proper clerical supplies for Nurses’ Station.
• Any other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse, or Administrator.

• High School Diploma / GED
• Excellent verbal communication.
  
• Good telephone communication etiquette.

• Adept at prioritizing, scheduling and multitasking.
  
• Ability to handle office equipment (e.g., the telephone system, printer and the fax machine)
