Key Objectives for This Role

Performs full clerical, administrative and general office duties involving **transcription, typing, record and file maintenance, data entry, and telephone reception**.

Requires an understanding of the content of the manager’s job and method of operation as well as knowledge of departmental operations and procedures.

Organizes and maintains files of manager’s correspondence, records etc., and follows up pending matters.

Acts as **receptionist for the manager**, screening correspondence and telephone calls.

Responsibilities

* Performs clerical, administrative and office duties including transcription, typing, file maintenance, data entry and telephone reception
* Understands manager’s role and departmental procedures
* Organizes and maintains correspondence and records, follows up on pending matters
* Acts as receptionist, screening correspondence and telephone calls
* Schedules appointments and coordinates arrangements for meetings
* Prints, organizes, and prepares information for meetings
* Arranges travel, accommodation, and car hire
* Prepares routine letters and memoranda for manager’s review
* Organizes and expedites workflow through office and initiates follow-up action
* Supports data collection and reporting
* Populates templates and creates documents
* Performs general office housekeeping activities as required
