Main Functions
The Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and is responsible for delivering excellent
customer service, managing appointments, and supporting smooth front-desk operations. The role
ensures a welcoming salon environment, efficient scheduling, accurate records, and effective
coordination between clients and salon staff.
Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Service
▪ Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive first impression.
▪ Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and inquiries professionally.
▪ Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and walk-ins.
▪ Handle client concerns or complaints and escalate when necessary.
Scheduling & Coordination
▪ Coordinate schedules for stylists, beauticians, nail technicians, and therapists.
▪ Ensure smooth client flow and minimize waiting time.
▪ Communicate appointments and special requests clearly to salon staff.
Payments & Records
▪ Process billing, payments, and receipts accurately.
▪ Maintain client records, appointment logs, and service history.
▪ Support daily cash handling and closing procedures as required.
Sales Support & Promotions
▪ Inform clients about salon services, packages, promotions, and memberships.
▪ Support retail sales by recommending products and services when appropriate.
Salon Administration
▪ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
▪ Coordinate with the salon supervisor/manager for daily operational needs.
▪ Assist with basic inventory tracking and administrative tasks.
