Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and organized Receptionist to support daily operations for a mobile home community in Auburn, AL. This position serves as the first point of contact for tenants, vendors, and visitors and plays a key role in keeping office communication, documentation, and reporting organized for property management review.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
  • Greet tenants, vendors, and visitors
  • Receive and document maintenance and work order requests
  • Communicate tenant issues and maintenance needs to the appropriate staff
  • Assist tenants with basic questions regarding leases, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain lease documents and tenant files
  • Accept and record rent payments and fees
  • Track outstanding balances and assist with accounts receivable reporting
  • Compile tenant, maintenance, and financial information for Property Manager review
  • Maintain organized office records and perform data entry
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, document management)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Prior office, receptionist, or property management experience preferred, but not required

Work Environment

  • Office-based position within a mobile home community
  • Regular interaction with tenants, vendors, and management
