Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and organized Receptionist to support daily operations for a mobile home community in Auburn, AL. This position serves as the first point of contact for tenants, vendors, and visitors and plays a key role in keeping office communication, documentation, and reporting organized for property management review.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
- Greet tenants, vendors, and visitors
- Receive and document maintenance and work order requests
- Communicate tenant issues and maintenance needs to the appropriate staff
- Assist tenants with basic questions regarding leases, policies, and procedures
- Prepare, organize, and maintain lease documents and tenant files
- Accept and record rent payments and fees
- Track outstanding balances and assist with accounts receivable reporting
- Compile tenant, maintenance, and financial information for Property Manager review
- Maintain organized office records and perform data entry
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, document management)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Prior office, receptionist, or property management experience preferred, but not required
Work Environment
- Office-based position within a mobile home community
- Regular interaction with tenants, vendors, and management
