Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant – Elder Law Firm

An established elder law firm is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic professional to join our team in a client-facing administrative role. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and committed to providing excellent service while supporting attorneys, paralegals, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and conference rooms
  • Manage office equipment and ensure proper functionality
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
  • Handle client payments and open new client files
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • High attention to detail, including proper grammar and punctuation
  • Prior law office experience or current pursuit of legal education is a plus

This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities for professional growth within the firm.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
