Receptionist/Salon Assistant

Shear Quality is a premier grooming salon dedicated to high-quality, one-on-one care. We are seeking a focused, detail-oriented professional to manage our front desk and assist in the salon operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Coordination: Manage scheduling, payments, and digital records via our booking software.
  • Technical Assistance: Learn professional bathing and drying techniques; provide safe handling support for elderly or nervous pets.
  • Facility Care: Maintain a clean, hygienic environment through regular sweeping, mopping, and station maintenance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Animal Proficiency: Must be confident handling both dogs and cats of all temperaments and sizes.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong ability to pivot between tasks efficiently without losing focus.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and dependable transportation are non-negotiable.

Compensation: Starting at $14.00 per hour. We believe in rewarding hard work—pay increases are available as you gain technical skills and take on more shop responsibilities.

Our hours are 8:50am to 5/5:30pm Tuesday through Friday and every other Monday and Saturday.
