Reconciliation Analyst

Who You’ll Work With:
The Portfolio Administration team services several internal and external applications. Daily, the team will uses internal reconciliation systems like CTC, Portfolio Management System, Cash flow management tool (ACEWin), Microsoft Office suite, other internal accounting applications such as EPA, ERP, BOSS, APEX, AB Advantage, etc. Along with external and potentially new applications that include Bloomberg as well as different custodian portals and websites.
What You’ll Do:
Within Portfolio Administration, the individual will be responsible for the governance and oversight of all daily End to end Reconciliation activities. This includes interaction with AB Middle Office and Portfolio Management teams, auditors, and Custodian banks. The individual will be expected to manage the Investment management operations and will need to be able to communicate Clearly, effectively with various internal and external clients.
  • Daily monitoring and evidencing of controls related to reconciliation.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participation in various firm initiatives and working groups.
  • Participation in internal/ external audit best practice discussions.
  • Managing vendor relationship & building service delivery benchmarks.
  • Generating Ideas for automations & efficiency projects

Reconciliation Analyst will learn about the various products that AB offers and the differences amongst them. They will also have significant contact with the front and middle offices, as well as external clients, making this a demanding and rewarding position. The goal is also to develop this individual into strategic leadership.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or another relevant discipline. Has experience in business operations, working with a team and meeting time sensitive deadlines.
Our Analysts typically have records of outstanding professional performance and academic achievement, along with excellent analytical, financial and technical skills, attentions to detail and as well as strong communication skills.
Candidates should have a strong ability to work and manage in a collaborative environment and to present results to both expert and non-expert audiences.
Our Analyst is expected to possess the basic knowledge of investment products like Capital Market, Fixed income, Equity, Derivatives, corporate actions and their applications, amortization, etc.
The Candidate should be outgoing, work well in a team setting, and handle changes with a positive outlook. Knowledge of strategic outsourcing relationships preferred.
