Job Title: Cash Reconciliations Analyst

Role Purpose:
The Cash Reconciliations Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end reconciliation of all cash revenue streams. The role focuses on daily monitoring, variance investigation, journal posting, and close coordination with internal stakeholders and banking partners. The position ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of revenue-related financial records while supporting continuous improvement in reconciliation processes and financial controls.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Perform daily reconciliations of all cash revenue streams, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Monitor daily banking transactions, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely corrective actions.

Analyze the root causes of discrepancies and participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve the first-match ratio and reconciliation processes.

Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly revenue-related journal entries.

Investigate variances between system records, bank statements, and revenue reports.

Coordinate with internal teams and external banking partners to resolve reconciliation differences.

Maintain strong reconciliation controls and support audit and compliance requirements.

Ensure proper documentation and archiving of reconciliation files.

Identify and support automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and timeliness.

Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Knowledge & Experience:

Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and journal posting.

Ability to analyze large datasets and identify discrepancies and trends.

Experience working with banks, payment gateways, or high-volume transaction environments.

Knowledge of ERP systems or reconciliation tools is an advantage.

3–4 years of relevant experience in a cash or revenue reconciliation role.

Prior experience working with banks, payment gateways, or high-volume transaction environments is mandatory.
