Reconciliation Officer

Officer – Settlement & Reconciliation


Role Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Settlement & Reconciliation Officer currently working in a similar capacity. The ideal candidate must have a solid grasp of the digital payment landscape in Pakistan, specifically RAAST and 1-Link platforms. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end transaction cycle, ensuring accurate financial entries, and coordinating with 1-link and SBP.


Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor’s in Commerce/Finance (Master’s preferred). 1-2 years experience in Settlement & Reconciliation within a Bank, EMI, or Microfinance setup. Hands-on exposure to RAAST, 1-Link, and RTGS/Clearing. Strong grip on double entry accounting and voucher preparation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily settlements for RAAST P2P and 1-Link channels (PayPak, ATM, IBFT, Bill Payments) with zero processing delays.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of internal systems against clearing reports from 1-Link and SBP RAAST portal.
  • Monitor the end-to-end transaction lifecycle to identify and resolve stuck or failed transactions promptly.
  • Utilize core banking and payment systems to track real-time settlement flows.
  • Prepare accurate accounting entries, including Bank Payment/Receipt Vouchers and Journal Vouchers (JVs) for all settlement activities.
  • Handle clearing operations and ensure timely execution of high-value interbank transfers (RTGS).
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding settlement items.
