Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Operational Management

• Develop and manage departmental budgets with ownership of profit and loss (P&L) performance
• Track job costs, gross margins, and overall profitability of reconstruction projects
• Monitor and analyze KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring production goals and financial targets are met
• Validate and evaluate project estimates, bids, and change orders to protect margins
• Forecast labor and subcontractor costs and maintain budget accuracy
• Review weekly and monthly financial reports with General Manager and Owner
• Oversee and ensure customer and client satisfaction
• Monitor volume of work
• Assist in finding and vetting subcontractors
• Manage all aspects of reconstruction division
• Manage daily operations of reconstruction team
• Validate potential construction leads
• Assign leads/projects to project managers and superintendents
• Ensure reconstruction team follows proper work process
• Perform tasks within the project management process to assist reconstruction team as needed (i.e. high volume, large project, etc.).
• Assist project managers with budgeting and bidding
• Conduct weekly Work-in-Progress meetings with reconstruction team
• Ensure two-way communication with the mitigation division
• Manage individual team members who work together to process reconstruction projects
• Leadership & Team Development- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers, superintendents, and coordinators
• Conduct periodic performance reviews with individual reconstruction team members
• Build a culture of accountability, communication, and excellence
• Ensure employee compliance with all Company policies
• Be familiar with and able to execute all roles and responsibilities of the Reconstruction Coordinator and Project Managers

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Previous construction management experience
• Proven construction management and financial oversight experience
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
• Demonstrated ability to analyze job profitability, control costs, and drive margin improvement
• Effective written and oral communication.

• Frequent driving and sitting
• Occasionally climbing ladders
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat
• The noise level at individual jobsites can be loud
