Recovery Driver

The Recovery Driver is responsible for safely operating recovery vehicles to transport broken-down, or non-operational vehicles from one location to another. The role requires adherence to road safety regulations, company procedures, and customer service standards while ensuring the secure handling of vehicles during loading, transportation, and unloading.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate recovery and towing vehicles safely and professionally.
• Recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, customer locations, workshops, and other designated locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using approved recovery methods and equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the recovery vehicle and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all recovery equipment is maintained in good working condition.
• Complete job sheets, delivery notes, and other required documentation accurately.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, dispatchers, and management.
• Comply with all UAE traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers, police authorities, insurance representatives, and colleagues.
• Keep the recovery vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
• Report accidents, incidents, vehicle damage, or operational issues immediately to management.
• Assist with other operational duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving license (appropriate category for recovery vehicles).
• Previous experience operating recovery, towing, or heavy vehicles is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs.
• Physically fit and capable of handling recovery equipment.
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
