Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Associate will support the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely hiring and a positive candidate experience. This role requires strong sourcing skills, coordination ability, and an understanding of hiring trends across various functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for entry to mid-level roles (sourcing to onboarding).
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create effective job descriptions.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, social media, and internal databases.
- Screen and shortlist candidates based on job criteria and cultural fit.
- Schedule interviews, manage coordination, and ensure smooth communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruitment reports.
- Conduct initial HR discussions on salary expectations, notice periods, and role suitability.
- Assist in employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience at all stages of the hiring process.
- Support onboarding and induction of new hires, when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Hands-on experience sourcing via job portals and LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of hiring processes and recruitment metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and MS Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hiring for specific industries (IT, retail, manufacturing, FMCG, etc.—can be customized).
- Knowledge of employer branding and social media recruitment strategies.
- Ability to manage high-volume hiring (if applicable to your sector).
