This position will lead acquisition of top talent for the Ziegler District in Hunt Valley, MD and York, PA. This process includes sourcing candidates using creative and effective outreach techniques, remaining in regular contact with potential candidates via email and phone, scheduling and conducting interviews. He or she builds high-level quality relationships in the community to promote the Northwestern Mutual career, culture, generate referrals and develop centers of influence. He or she plays a key role in developing communication skills and drive to achieve are critical in this position.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Recruiting
· Establish and execute district recruiting plan to reach activity and productivity goals
· Utilize the district office as a referral source (FRs. specialist, management and staff)
· Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities and benefits
· Develop and coordinate advertising and marketing strategies (ads, direct mail, community events, etc.)
· Develop relationships with other NM recruiters to share leads and best practices
Selection
· Master information and language regarding all aspects of the financial representative career and each step of the selection process
· Review resumes and schedule initial interviews for qualified candidates
· Conduct pre-screen and initial interviews of all candidates entering the process
· Administer selection profiles
· Conduct subsequent interviews as needed
· Direct all candidate through the selection process and series of interviews
· Maintain the integrity of the selection process and Northwestern Mutual culture
· Effectively communicate with candidates
· Manage the transition of candidates offered a contract with the district office, including the Contract, Licensing and Registration process as well as training and development
Accountability & Activity Tracking
· Track recruiting data to report and identify areas of improvement
· Maintain databases of all recruiting and selection for the district network office on a daily basis
· Report weekly activity to the Executive Director of Development
· Utilize home office supported software to maintain the candidate database and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
· Prepare activity/results reports for leadership team meetings
Miscellaneous
· Maintain sufficient inventory of all recruiting materials and supplies
· Oversee all on-boarding requirements to be completed by candidate before training
· Develop programs/contests as needed to enhance recruiting results
· Provide support to the leadership team for recruiting and selection efforts
Qualification Criteria
· Bachelor's degree required
· prior work experience required, preferably in sales, recruiting or financial services industry
· Strong communication skills required with the ability to build rapport and influence others
· Experience with high-volume recruiting and sourcing techniques
· Highly motivates, confident and high-energy
· Ability to work with a variety of personalities at various levels
· Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
