Overview:
Screens, interviews, and assesses qualifications of applicants. Refers top candidates to the department for hiring decisions. Makes job offers and partners with their assigned onboarder to ensure all pre-employment tasks and requirements are complete prior to orientation. Advertises position vacancies to create and maintain applicant pools. Assists departments in resolving problems related to recruiting and staffing. Establishes relationships with assigned local institutions (ie. universities, colleges, chamber of commerce, etc) to encourage support of recruitment initiatives. Attends career events to educate students and solicit interest in HH as a prospective employer.
Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. Comparable combinations of education and experience considered.


Experience
Three to five years experience in Human Resources or related field required.


Additional Skills/Abilities

  • Must be proficient in the use of personal computer, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, phone and written communications.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to develop, organize and implement policies and procedures with minimum supervision.
