The Recruiter serves as a strategic talent acquisition partner, owning full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to execute effective recruitment strategies, ensures consistency and compliance throughout the hiring process, and contributes to continuous improvement of recruiting systems, tools, and practices. The Recruiter also supports broader talent initiatives, including active sourcing and data management.
This position can be located in Boulder, CO, Kansas City (Parkville), MO, or remote for the right candidate.
Essential duties and responsibilities

Own and execute full-cycle recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions, from intake through offer acceptance ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Partner with hiring managers to develop, review, and maintain accurate, inclusive, and compliant job descriptions aligned to business needs

Actively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, internal databases, and other tools to build qualified and diverse talent pipelines

Ensure a positive and consistent candidate and hiring manager experience through timely, transparent, and proactive communication

Provide coaching to hiring managers to ensure fair and consistent use of best practices across all hiring practices

Facilitate offer development, negotiation, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and competitive hiring decisions

Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for third-party recruitment agencies and external recruiting partners

Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation within the applicant tracking system and related databases, support file audits, clean-up, and data integrity efforts

Contribute to recruiting process improvement initiatives, including standardization, efficiency enhancements, and best-practice documentation

Participate in overnight travel occasionally for recruitment events, industry conferences, and site visits

Education/Experience/Skills

Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field

Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in both proactive and reactive situations.

Proven ability to exercise discretion and professional judgment, including providing thoughtful pushback when appropriate.

Ability to ask insightful questions, identify gaps, and seek guidance when needed

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining the highest level of integrity.

Proficiency in MS Office and applicant tracking systems; comfort working in data-driven environments.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet competing deadlines.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and solution-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Frequently required to sit for prolonged periods of time, reach for/manipulate standard office equipment, communicate with various staff and/or reach for and manipulate objects.
