Job Title: Recruiter

Department: Human Resources / Operations

Reports To: President / Vice President

Job Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified security personnel to meet the staffing needs of Full Throttle Security (FTS). This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all hires meet company standards, client requirements, and regulatory compliance while supporting rapid growth and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Source candidates for security officer and related positions using job boards, referrals, social media, and community outreach
  • Screen applicants through phone interviews and in-person/virtual interviews
  • Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, and recruiting campaigns as needed
  • Extend job offers and communicate hiring decisions clearly and professionally

Onboarding & Compliance

  • Collect and verify required documentation (licenses, IDs, certifications, background info)
  • Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements
  • Ensure new hires meet all state, client, and company compliance standards
  • Support onboarding processes, including orientation scheduling and system setup

Pipeline & Workforce Planning

  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future staffing needs
  • Work closely with operations and scheduling teams to anticipate hiring demands
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire, applicant flow, and retention trends

Systems & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant records in company systems (e.g., Connecteam or ATS)
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information
  • Assist with maintaining recruiting SOPs and process improvements

Employer Branding & Communication

  • Represent Full Throttle Security professionally to candidates and community partners
  • Promote FTS culture, values, and growth opportunities
  • Respond promptly and respectfully to candidate inquiries

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of recruiting, HR, or staffing experience (security industry preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic office software and hiring platforms

Preferred

  • Experience recruiting security guards or field-based personnel
  • Familiarity with licensing and compliance requirements for security officers
  • Experience using scheduling or workforce management systems (e.g., Connecteam)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Pay: $18.00 per hour
