We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our client's manufacturing team. This role is primarily focused on sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, and conducting phone screens to identify top talent. Approximately 90% of the day will be dedicated to recruitment activities, with the remaining 10% supporting general HR assistant duties. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of candidates in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Talent Acquisition (90%)
Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, databases, and other recruiting channels
Review and evaluate resumes to determine candidate fit
Conduct high-volume phone screens and initial candidate assessments
Maintain accurate candidate records and notes in the applicant tracking system
Communicate with candidates regarding application status and next steps
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers as needed
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
HR Assistant Duties (10%)
Provide administrative support to HR team
Assist with onboarding documentation and new hire coordination
Maintain employee records and files
Support various HR projects and general administrative tasks
Previous experience working as a Recruiter in a manufacturing environment
Strong resume screening and candidate evaluation skills
Experience conducting phone interviews and candidate assessments
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and standard office software
Experience in high-volume recruiting environments
Basic understanding of HR processes and compliance
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
