As a Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in attracting, engaging, and hiring talent across the organization while upholding Sentry’s culture and employee‑owner mindset.
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

Partner closely with leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and success criteria.

Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and community engagement.

Identify and engage passive candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, social platforms, and industry networks.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard‑to‑fill and niche roles, including Service Technician positions.
Recruiting & Hiring Experience

Review applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ experience, skills, and cultural alignment.

Coordinate interviews and collaborate with internal partners to ensure an efficient, positive candidate experience.

Create, post, and manage internal and external job postings aligned with business needs and Sentry’s brand.

Train supervisors and culture interview participants on effective and compliant interview practices.
Programs, Process & Metrics

Manage Sentry’s intern and co‑op program, supporting hiring, coordination, and onboarding.

Track, analyze, and report recruiting and hiring metrics to support continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate, confidential candidate and employee records within the HRIS and HR files.
HR Support & Collaboration

Support onsite employee relations matters as needed.

Contribute to ongoing improvement of job descriptions and recruiting processes.

Partner closely with the HR team and leaders across the organization to support a strong, values-driven culture.

Pitch in on other HR initiatives and projects as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: At least 3 years of HR experience with a strong focus on recruiting, sourcing, and employee communications.

Certification: PHR certification preferred.

Experience with legal, effective recruiting and interviewing practices.

Confidence using Microsoft Office tools, HRIS platforms, and recruiting technology.

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
