Position Summary



The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; managing relocations and assisting with onboarding processes that contribute to Aultman Health Foundation’s ability to attract, retain and engage its workforce and drive the organization to a high-performance culture.




Department Summary



Aultman is an integrated healthcare system which includes Aultman Hospital, Aultman Orrville Hospital, Aultman Alliance Community Hospital, AultCare, The Aultman Foundation, Aultman College, with over 1,000 active providers and over 7,000 colleagues. Aultman Health System externally onboards over 1,000 new colleagues per year.




Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, HealthCare or related field.


  • 5 years of full life cycle recruitment experience, preferred.


  • Prior human resource experience, preferred.


  • 2 years of candidate sourcing experience preferred.


  • Understanding of human resources processes, policies and procedures.


  • Familiarity with HR software including HRIS and applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities & Expectations



  • Assist Managers in entering requisitions an assist in managing accuracy of requisitions and job postings.


  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.


  • Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.


  • Review Applicant Behavioral Assessment for behavioral fit.


  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.


  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.


  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; helps facilitate travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews.


  • Hire employees and initiate paperwork, physicals, and screenings


  • Assist, Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.


  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.


  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.


  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).


  • Complete contract employee packets, background checks and health services check in.


  • Attend Job Fairs.


  • Review Aultman Scholarship applications.


  • Assist employees with career counseling and issues.




Department Responsibilities & Expectations



Working Conditions



8:00am – 5:00pm M-F or hours as required by the job.

  • Occasional weekends and off -shifts.


  • Hybrid option available.


  • Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.



Hazardous Exposure Category
