Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our security company. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified security personnel, including security guards, supervisors, and specialized staff. The ideal candidate understands high-volume hiring, compliance requirements, and the unique demands of the security industry.

We are a premier event security firm specializing in high-profile live broadcasts, award shows, and major events/festivals across the US. With a presence in key markets nationwide, JRM delivers a comprehensive suite of professional services, including commercial and residential security patrols, and monitoring.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for security roles (e.g., guards, patrol officers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and licensing
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and assist in selection decision
  • Verify candidate credentials, including background checks, licenses, and certifications
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company hiring standards
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for ongoing staffing needs
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events to attract talent
  • Collaborate with operations teams to understand staffing requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in security, law enforcement, or high-volume staffing
  • Knowledge of security requirements (licenses, guard cards, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective employee relations communication.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations preferred
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment

Pay: $30.00 per hour
