Assists in conducting preliminary phone screens with viable candidates to assess their knowledge, skills, abilities, and cultural suitability for all positions

Partners with Director of Human Resources/hiring managers to develop and execute recruiting/staffing plans to meet current and future business requirements

Analyzes job descriptions carefully and compares them to candidate employment records (e.g., resumes, job applications, LinkedIn, Indeed profiles, etc.) to ensure candidates meet established minimum job requirements

Provides recommendations to advance a candidate or not in interview process to Director of Human Resources and hiring managers post interview

Coordinates second and third interview appointments for management\

Identifies and engages with engineering talent through various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media websites, employee referrals, and relevant professional networking events

Creates and maintains a strategic pipeline of engineering candidates for current and future business needs

In collaboration with Director of Human Resources, assists with recruitment events when needed

Collects candidate feedback during interview process and shares insight accordingly including clarification on essential responsibilities of positions, market pay data, benefits, etc.

Tracks and monitors candidates and their respective phase in the proprietary interview process

Stays abreast in computer numerical control (CNC) machinery and steel industries and applies best practices in engineering recruitment

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects at the same time

At least 3 years of professional experience in recruiting required, experience in hiring for engineering roles a huge plus

A valid driver's license and passport in case of travel abroad

Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates

Excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal.

Being able to speak, read, and write the English language required
-
Computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, etc.) at least two years
