We are growing and looking for a motivated Recruiter / HR Specialist to join our team and help us attract, hire, and retain top caregiving professionals.

Position Summary
The Recruiter / HR Specialist is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and on-boarding caregivers, nursing staff and office support while supporting HR functions such as employee engagement, compliance, and scheduling support. This role is key to ensuring BrightStar maintains a strong, reliable team to provide exceptional client care.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit qualified caregivers, HHAs, and Nurses

• Manage job postings and recruitment pipelines on platforms such as Indeed, Linkedin, Facebook and other social media

• Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring decisions with management

• Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and training

• Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Support employee relations, recognition programs, and retention efforts

• Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs and workforce planning

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruiting and/or human resources (healthcare preferred)

• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office/Google Suite

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
