Job Summary and Qualifications

This Senior Counsel role will support HCA Physician Services with its day-to-day legal activities and other corporate departments and service lines as assigned. The role reports to the Managing Operations Counsel and will work closely with Physician Services leadership.

Key Job Duties:

• Review, approve and manage physician and other contracts;
• Provide counsel to Physician Services on regulatory issues and serve as a resource for the legal component of operational questions;
• Assist with ensuring awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures
• Assist with the development of internal policies, procedures and forms;
• Collaborate with, and provide guidance and assistance to, other colleagues in the Legal Department;
• Work closely and collaboratively with Physician Services leadership

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school & active membership in at least one state bar is required
• 10+ years of experience in /as legal counsel is required
• Admission to the Tennessee bar is required
