Recruiter I

The Recruiter I supports the Department of Employment and Recruitment within Human Resources and plays an important role in meeting systemwide staffing goals. This position manages assigned searches from requisition through offer acceptance, while also supporting onboarding preparation and department operations.

Reporting to the Director of Employment and Recruitment, the Recruiter I partners closely with hiring managers to evaluate candidates, provide guidance throughout the hiring process, and ensure a positive candidate experience through orientation. This role also flexes to support additional functional areas based on business needs and priorities.

What You Bring to the Table

Educational Foundation

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

Professional Experience

  • 5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS platforms, and employment related technology tools

Extra Skills That Set You Apart

  • Professional in Human Resources certification

What You Will Lead and Deliver

  • Establishes recruiting requirements by partnering with leaders to understand workforce plans and hiring needs
  • Builds and maintains applicant pipelines through outreach to colleges, employment agencies, media sources, and online platforms
  • Represents SRHS by sharing information about career opportunities, benefits, and organizational culture
  • Reviews job descriptions and qualifications to determine applicant requirements
  • Attracts candidates by posting job advertisements through appropriate media channels
  • Screens applicants and coordinates interviews including scheduling, travel coordination, itineraries, and interview day support
  • Maintains and utilizes Employment and Recruitment systems including HCM, ATS, assessment tools, background screening platforms, and onboarding systems
  • Maintains requisitions and verifies department and position numbers in accordance with department guidelines
  • Prepares and submits onboarding and post hire documentation including E Verify
  • Maintains accurate I 9 data for the organization and supports quarterly audits
  • Provides detailed reporting and analysis upon request
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline recruitment processes and improve workflow efficiency
  • Delivers excellent customer service and consistent follow through
  • Supports employee relations matters by providing recruitment documentation when requested
  • Assists with Employment and Recruitment initiatives and projects as assigned
