We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Recruiter with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier professionals for technical and non-technical roles within the sector. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the oil and gas recruitment market, an extensive network, and the ability to manage multiple vacancies across different disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs and develop job descriptions
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from application to onboarding
Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
- Use various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, referrals, and industry-specific platforms
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, particularly for technical roles (engineers, HSE, project managers, etc.)
- Attend industry events, job fairs, and networking forums to expand candidate outreach
Industry Expertise & Stakeholder Engagement
- Understand job requirements specific to the oil and gas sector (upstream, midstream, downstream)
- Screen for technical capabilities, certifications, and project experience in line with client or project specifications
- Work closely with hiring managers, project leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely hiring
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date records of all candidates and recruitment activities using ATS or HRIS tools
- Prepare weekly/monthly recruitment status reports
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong understanding of job functions in oil and gas projects (drilling, production, EPC, maintenance, safety, etc.)
- Proven experience in sourcing and hiring for both white-collar and blue-collar roles
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities under tight deadlines
