Recruiter / Project Coordinator

C.A. Jones is now seeking a full-time Recruiter / Project Coordinator for our Newport News location!

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Recruiting and processing skilled tradesmen for marine industrial job opportunities (shipyard).
• Coordinating the start of new employees at marine construction facilities
• Screening candidates, scheduling interviews, processing background checks (as needed)
• Use and maintenance of our employee / applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and additional software
• Assisting current employees with job related needs as they arise
• Providing exceptional customer service to our clients

* A minimum of (2) years of recruiting / coordinating experience is preferred.

* An understanding of naval and / or commercial ship construction is preferred.
