We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Recruiter / Workforce Development Coordinator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting workforce growth initiatives by attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent across both field and office operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the organization's continued success while helping build a strong, engaged workforce.

Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute proactive recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for field and office positions.
Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage all aspects of the hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer coordination, and onboarding.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilize social media, job boards, industry networking, trade schools, career fairs, employee referrals, and community outreach efforts to identify talent.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future workforce needs.
Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process by answering questions related to employment, benefits, and company policies while ensuring timely follow-up and providing exceptional customer service to all external stakeholders.
Applicant Tracking: Maintain accurate candidate records, documentation, and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Employer Branding: Partner with Marketing to strengthen recruitment advertising, employer branding, and workforce development initiatives through participation in career fairs, industry events, networking opportunities, and community outreach efforts designed to build relationships and attract top talent.
Recruitment Analytics: Track and report recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring trends.
Employee Engagement & Retention: Support onboarding programs, employee engagement initiatives, retention efforts, and employee recognition activities.
Performance Evaluation Support: Coordinate field trades staff performance evaluations, ensuring timely completion and assisting managers throughout the process.
Workforce Planning: Assist with workforce planning initiatives and stay informed on recruiting trends, labor market conditions, and workforce development opportunities.
Compliance & HR Support: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies while supporting HR projects and business initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting experience required
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing platforms
Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and talent acquisition strategies
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, field leadership, and employees at all levels of the organization.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related systems.
Experience recruiting within the commercial construction industry strongly preferred
SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred
