Recruiting Associate
Reports to: Ishan Puri
Status: At Will
The role: Build and run Clove's hiring engine as we scale from 9 to 100+ offices over the next 24-36 months. You'll own end-to-end recruiting across dentists, hygienists, assistants, office managers, and HQ roles — and build the AI-augmented systems that let one recruiter do the work of three. Reports to CEO. LA-based, 5 days in office with travel to all Clove locations.
You will own:
- Pipeline building across all clinical and operational roles, with priority on dentist recruiting (highest-impact, hardest-to-fill)
- Sourcing strategy across LinkedIn, Indeed, dental school alumni networks, professional associations, and our offshore sourcer team (currently 2 people in the Philippines)
- Candidate experience end-to-end: screen, schedule, interview coordination, offer negotiation, close
- Manager partnership: weekly intake meetings with offices and clinical leads to align on profile and pipeline
- ATS hygiene and reporting: weekly pipeline dashboard to CEO, monthly hiring KPIs
- AI tooling: build out the Clove Recruiting OS — automated outreach sequencing, candidate scoring, market hourly-rate analysis, integrations with ATS
You will partner on (not own):
- Onboarding experience
- Offboarding and exit interviews
- Compensation philosophy
KPIs:
- 15 placements/month (scaling to 25/month at 18 offices)
- 3+ qualified candidates per open requisition at any time
- <21 day time-to-fill for non-clinical, <45 for hygienists, <75 for dentists
- Cost-per-hire < $1,500 (excluding signing bonuses)
- 90-day new-hire retention > 90%
Profile:
- 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting, healthcare or multi-site services strongly preferred
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
