Recruiting Coordinator for our Client

Job Summary
This position supports the coordination of hiring and onboarding activities for hourly and operational roles. The Recruiting Coordinator assists with scheduling, communication, and process tracking while helping ensure candidates and new hires experience an organized and welcoming transition into the company.

The role is well suited for someone early in their career who is interested in gaining practical exposure to recruiting and HR operations. The Coordinator works alongside HR leadership, receives regular direction, and contributes to day to day hiring needs while developing foundational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting activities for hourly and operational roles
  • Post job openings, manage applicant flow, and conduct initial resume screens
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation and orientation logistics
  • Ensure completion of required new hire paperwork in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period
  • Assist the HR Leader with documentation related to corrective action and employee matters
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • Support consistent application of policies and procedures
  • Help prepare reports, trackers, and basic HR metrics as requested
  • Ensure recruiting and onboarding activities align with employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain organized and accurate personnel and recruiting files
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and candidate experience

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or a related administrative role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from HR leadership
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition

Pay: $43,320.00 - $57,286.00 per year
