Job Summary:
Each employee at Blossom will be a part of a collaborative team that values child-led interventions and comprehensive care. As the Recruitment Specialist, you will be trained and expected to perform all duties and be accountable for the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities/Duties
- Develop a strong understanding of the Blossom Children’s Center industry and staffing process.
- Strategically source, identify, and attract qualified healthcare professionals—including Technicians, SLPs, OTs, BCBAs, and Administrative Staff —through a variety of channels and methods including but not limited to applicant tracking systems and other recruiting platforms, job boards, cold calls, social media platforms, text/email campaigns, referrals, and networking events.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates, ensuring a deep understanding of their career goals and availability.
- Maintain active communication with leadership to ensure ongoing engagement and pipeline development.
- Review and prioritize job orders daily, aligning sourcing strategies to meet urgent and long-term needs.
- Accurately maintain records and candidate pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System and other recruiting tools.
- Collaborate closely with the HR/Operations team to match candidates with appropriate client opportunities, ensuring high levels of satisfaction on both ends.
- Coordinate interviews, assignment details and contracts, credentialing documentation, and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Review backgrounds, qualifications, and other pertinent details for the job order, and prepare candidate profiles for client submission in a timely, professional manner.
- Serve as a key point of contact throughout the placement process, providing consistent updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Partner with internal departments including Credentialing, Clinical, and Operations to ensure placements are executed smoothly and efficiently.
- Meet and exceed KPIs and contribute to a high-performing and collaborative recruiting team.
- Support and participate in other duties, company initiatives, or special projects as assigned.
- Schedule and conduct interviews in multiple locations for positions.
- Perform other related duties as necessary/assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to complete and pass a background check.
- A bachelor’s degree in HR or;
- An Associate’s degree with five (5) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Five (5) years of related experience in responsible professional and administrative levels involving recruiting, HR, and HRIS systems.
- Ability to concentrate, pay close attention to detail and perform duties under time restrictions.
- Considerable mental concentration on variable projects
- Must be able to handle and transport up to 25 pounds.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a clinical environment.
- Familiarity with ADP, and other applicant tracking systems
Pay/Benefits:
· Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000/annually based on experience + commission
· Commission based on days to fill open positions, 90-day turnover, and # of hires per occupation.
o Technician and administrative hiring – up to $150/per position
- $50 after successful completion of 90-day probationary period, plus an additional $100 after each administrator or technician’s first year
o Clinician hiring (SLPs, OTs, BCBAs) – up to $1500/per position
- $500 after successful completion of 90-day probationary period, plus an additional $1000 after each clinician’s first year
o 100% commission is given for all positions filled within 30 days of opening
o 90% commission is given for positions filled in 31-45 days
o 75% commission is given for positions filled in 46-60 days
o 50% commission is given for positions filled in 61-75 days
o No commission for positions that take longer than 75 days to fill
