The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment across assigned business units, ensuring timely and quality hires to meet organizational manpower needs. The role requires proactive sourcing, effective stakeholder management, and adherence to recruitment SLAs and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities from requisition to onboarding.
- Source candidates through multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, agencies, referrals, open days, and global sourcing initiatives).
- Build and maintain a candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.
- Ensure diversity and inclusion in sourcing.
2. Recruitment Operations
- Coordinate with line managers and HRBPs to clarify role requirements and timelines.
- Prepare and post job advertisements internally and externally.
- Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely feedback.
- Support offer preparation, negotiations, and issuance.
3. Process Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, SLAs, and labor law requirements.
- Maintain accurate and updated recruitment trackers, ATS entries, and candidate files.
- Generate weekly/monthly recruitment reports for management review.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the point of contact between candidates, hiring managers, HRBPs, and agencies.
- Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication and updates.
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners where needed.
5. Strategic Support
- Participate in recruitment drives, open days, and global hiring trips.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives (career fairs, university outreach).
- Support digital transformation of recruitment (ATS modules, dashboards, automation).
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of UAE Labor Law and recruitment practices (GCC experience preferred).
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS tools.
Experience
- 3–5 years of recruitment experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or large-scale projects.
- Experience with both white-collar (staff) and blue-collar (labor) hiring.
- Proven record of meeting recruitment targets and timelines.
