Recruitment & Training Coordinator

Always Best Care: Las Cruces, NM

Schedule: Full Time

Pay: $40,000-$50,000

Always Best Care Las Cruces is seeking an energetic, organized, and people-focused Recruitment & Training Coordinator to join our team! This role plays a vital part in ensuring our caregivers are compassionate, prepared, and ready to deliver exceptional home care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Hiring:

  • Build applicant pipelines through community outreach, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and job boards.
  • Create and post engaging job advertisements.
  • Screen and interview candidates; verify references; assess suitability for caregiver roles.
  • Coordinate interviews with management and make hiring recommendations.
  • Represent the agency professionally at job fairs and community events.

Onboarding & Training:

  • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Create and maintain employee files within WellSky.
  • Introduce new caregivers to clients and provide on-site training as needed.
  • Assign, track, and follow up on required online training.
  • Maintain organized training records.
  • Designate deadlines for ongoing education and certifications.

General Responsibilities:

  • Stay current with employment trends, home care industry standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Support the agency’s mission, vision, values, and goals.
  • Participate in staff development activities, in-services, and professional organizations.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend on-call support every other week.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator or Alternate Administrator.

Qualifications:

Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • High school diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience.
  • Knowledge of home care or healthcare settings strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of basic employment law.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with caregivers, clients, families, and community
  • partners.

● Proficient in computer skills, including email, record keeping, and database navigation.

  • Compliance: Knowledgeable about state and federal home care regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for most of the day.
  • Ability to move within the office as needed.
  • Frequent operation of office equipment (computer, copier, fax, printer).
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients, staff, and external partners.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
