Recruitment & Training Coordinator

Always Best Care Las Cruces is seeking an energetic, organized, and people-focused Recruitment & Training Coordinator to join our team! This role plays a vital part in ensuring our caregivers are compassionate, prepared, and ready to deliver exceptional home care services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring:
- Build applicant pipelines through community outreach, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and job boards.
- Create and post engaging job advertisements.
- Screen and interview candidates; verify references; assess suitability for caregiver roles.
- Coordinate interviews with management and make hiring recommendations.
- Represent the agency professionally at job fairs and community events.
Onboarding & Training:
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Create and maintain employee files within WellSky.
- Introduce new caregivers to clients and provide on-site training as needed.
- Assign, track, and follow up on required online training.
- Maintain organized training records.
- Designate deadlines for ongoing education and certifications.
General Responsibilities:
- Stay current with employment trends, home care industry standards, and relevant regulations.
- Support the agency’s mission, vision, values, and goals.
- Participate in staff development activities, in-services, and professional organizations.
- Provide after-hours and weekend on-call support every other week.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator or Alternate Administrator.
Qualifications:
Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- High school diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of home care or healthcare settings strongly preferred.
- Understanding of basic employment law.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with caregivers, clients, families, and community
- partners.
● Proficient in computer skills, including email, record keeping, and database navigation.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for most of the day.
- Ability to move within the office as needed.
- Frequent operation of office equipment (computer, copier, fax, printer).
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, staff, and external partners.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
