Primary Focus: Caregiver Recruitment, Training & Retention
Role Purpose
The Recruitment & Training Manager is responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing caregiver workforce that supports business growth, client satisfaction, and referral partner confidence.
This role owns the full caregiver lifecycle—from recruitment through onboarding and formal training—ensuring every hire meets our standards for professionalism, reliability, and cultural alignment. As a hands-on caregiver trainer and workforce leader, you will directly influence staffing speed, case coverage consistency, and long-term retention.
Your success directly impacts our ability to staff cases quickly, confidently, and consistently.
Primary Accountabilities
- Maintain a ready, high-quality caregiver bench aligned with census demands and growth goals
- Achieve defined caregiver hiring targets and time-to-hire benchmarks
- Improve 30 / 60 / 90-day caregiver retention and reduce overall turnover
- Ensure caregivers are properly trained to reinforce staffing reliability and brand trust
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly caregiver hires vs. target
- Time-to-hire (application to cleared caregiver)
- Caregiver readiness rate and availability
- 30 / 60 / 90-day retention rates
- Number of field visits to recruit caregivers
Core Responsibilities
Caregiver Recruitment & Workforce Readiness
- Lead full-cycle caregiver recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
- Maintain an active, qualified caregiver pipeline through consistent recruiting and training sessions
- Ensure caregivers are fully cleared, compliant, and ready to staff cases
- Reinforce professionalism, accountability, and cultural expectations
- Develop personalized training plans to ensure high-quality placement outcomes
Caregiver Engagement & Retention
- Serve as a caregiver advocate and workforce leader
- Conduct structured engagement touchpoints at 30 / 60 / 90 days
- Identify early signs of disengagement and intervene proactively
- Foster a culture of recognition, accountability, and performance excellence
Community Outreach & Talent Development
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies (nursing schools, CNA programs, job fairs, community events)
- Build long-term caregiver pipelines through educational and community partnerships
- Establish recurring recruitment channels to support predictable workforce growth
Qualifications & Attributes
- Experience in caregiver recruitment, healthcare staffing, or workforce leadership
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- High energy, organized, and proactive mindset
- Comfortable working with performance metrics and accountability standards
- Ability to operate effectively in both office and field environments
- Reliable transportation and availability for local travel
