Job Summary

As a Fixed Income Pricing Analyst within the Global Index Research Group, you play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of daily bond price validation and reporting. You will collaborate with vendors, technology teams, and clients to resolve issues and deliver timely market insights. Your expertise supports ongoing process improvements and contributes to the success of index benchmarking and portfolio valuation.

Job Responsibilities

• Capture and validate daily third-party bond prices against multiple market sources
• Analyze price movements in relation to market news and expectations
• Liaise with pricing vendors to resolve discrepancies and minimize risk
• Monitor systems for job success and promptly resolve issues with technology teams
• Prepare and distribute daily pricing and market impact summaries, supported by relevant market news
• Generate and maintain month-end index rebalance and composition reports, incorporating new bond issuance and auction/buy-back activities
• Produce and analyze valuation movements within client portfolios on a daily and monthly basis
• Complete all daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks and reporting accurately and within deadlines
• Resolve client queries from the Global Index Research Group professionally and efficiently
• Participate and present in monthly client meetings & Escalate issues promptly and effectively to supervisors
• Contribute to the ongoing development of pricing control processes &Undertake ad-hoc project work as directed

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

• 8+ years of experience in fixed income roles
• Demonstrated experience in team management
• Strong understanding of stocks, bonds, options, and financial markets
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

• Knowledge of pricing vendors such as Bloomberg and Reuters
• Familiarity with industry activities including corporate actions and index benchmarking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team and across departments
