At DK Law, we don’t just represent our clients. We stand with them, all the way.
We’re modern injury and accident attorneys who go all the way for every client, from every background. At the heart of our work is a simple but powerful belief: every client’s experience matters, and we honor it as if it were our own. From the very first call to the final resolution, we approach every case with the mindset that it’s going the distance.
That same mindset fuels our workplace culture. We’re a team of purpose-driven professionals who care deeply, move fast, and never lose sight of the human side of what we do. If you're passionate about making an impact, growing with a team that values excellence and empathy, and being part of something bigger, we’d love to meet you.
The Role
At DK Law, we do things differently, and we do them well. We’re one of California’s top personal injury firms—and as our caseload continues to expand, we’re building a network of trusted partner firms to ensure every client receives the attention their case deserves.
The Referral Manager will take the lead in identifying, developing, and managing relationships with law firms across California and beyond. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for referral partnerships, negotiating case-sharing agreements and ensuring alignment with DK Law’s standards of quality, ethics, and client care.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that combines business development, negotiation, and operational understanding. You’ll be both in the field and in our Costa Mesa HQ, representing the firm with professionalism, confidence, and a deep understanding of the personal injury workflow.
What You Will Do
Identify and engage law firms suitable for referral partnerships
Negotiate referral contracts and case-sharing agreements with clear fee structures and performance standards
Represent DK Law in meetings, networking events, and industry functions to expand referral pipelines
Maintain ongoing communication with partner firms to ensure quality and compliance on shared cases
Collaborate with internal leadership to determine case types and volumes appropriate for referral
Track, report, and manage referral performance metrics and contract details
Build long-term relationships rooted in trust, professionalism, and mutual success
Work closely with the Operations, Intake, and Legal teams to ensure seamless case handoffs
Role may include other relevant duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or client relations—preferably in a law firm or legal services environment
Knowledge of personal injury workflows and terminology (strongly preferred)
Proven negotiation and contract-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to influence with professionalism and tact
Highly organized and able to manage multiple relationships and agreements at once
Comfortable working both in-office and in the field (approximately 50/50 split)
Self-motivated, persuasive, and driven to build lasting partnerships
Ideal Candidate Strengths:
Professional, confident, and articulate in communication
Strong closer with high emotional intelligence
Strategic thinker who can balance business growth with ethical standards
Skilled at navigating law firm dynamics and adapting to various communication styles
Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt position with a base salary range of $80,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience. Additional performance-based incentives may be available based on referral outcomes and firm growth metrics.
