Refrigeration PPM Engineer

Salary: £38,789 or £43,705 per annum, depending on experience
No call-out or weekend working
Door-to-door pay
25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
Additional earnings available through enhanced overtime rates
Up to 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets
Van (with option for personal use from day 1) and fuel card

About the Job:

You’ll be out and about on the road travelling to your assigned sites, carrying out planned Refrigeration works. The role includes PPM works to agreed SOP’s on Retail Refrigeration Equipment like Packs and Cold storage, there will be some associated PPM tasks that are M&E Biased so training will be provided. During seasonal PPM freeze times, you will be required to assist the Refrigeration or M&E reactive teams.

You’ll enjoy working autonomously, where you will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work. Ideally, you will have the ability to confidently carry out a range of other electrical and mechanical tasks as well.

To be successful you will have::
Full UK Driving License
C&G 2079 (FGAS Cat 1)
NVQ level 2 Refrigeration
CO2 trained (desirable)
Significant experience ideally gained within a retail environment
The ability to work unsupervised in a pressurized environment dealing with store teams and members of the public
An understanding of commercial refrigeration system technologies

Other Information

The role will involve working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
