Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Refrigerant Technician to join our team in Fujairah. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support for ice and chiller plant systems. The ideal candidate should have experience handling refrigerant equipment, ensuring efficient plant operations, and maintaining strict compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of ice and chiller plants.
• Handle materials, tools, and supplies required for refrigeration plant operations.
• Manage and update the daily checklist for ice & chiller plant equipment.
• Assist with the setup and dismantling of plant equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any faults or irregularities to supervisors.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports during plant operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Participate in safety training and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / Technical Certificate in Refrigeration, HVAC, or related field.
• Prior experience in ice plants, chiller plants, or industrial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, refrigerant handling, and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to read and complete inspection reports accurately.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Working Conditions:

• Plant-based role with exposure to refrigeration equipment and machinery.
• Requires physical ability to handle tools, materials, and plant inspections.
• May involve overtime, shifts, or emergency call-outs depending on operational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
