Job Summary:
As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our critical processes. Your technical know-how and proactive approach will directly impact the success and compliance of our plant operations.
Key Responsibilities – Ammonia Refrigeration Plant Maintenance & Operation

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems, chillers, compressors, valves, and associated plant equipment.

Monitor plant systems for performance, promptly identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults or safety concerns to minimise downtime.

Ensure all ammonia-related activities adhere to relevant legislative requirements, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.

Oversee plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency response processes, maintaining records as required by statutory and company standards.

Carry out leak detection and rectification of ammonia systems; respond rapidly to alarms, troubleshooting and isolating issues methodically.
