Role Overview:
The Regional Accountant at ACCBC will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities across distributor sites in the assigned region. This includes managing accounting records, cash operations, inventory control, customer receivables, and financial reporting. The role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of sales, stock, and cash transactions, in alignment with the company's financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounting activities, inventory tracking, and cash handling at distributor locations within the Delta region.

Review and reconcile daily sales transactions; ensure accurate and timely sales closures across the full region.

Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue balances, and ensure accurate daily aging of customer balances.

Review and reconcile cash balances; oversee proper handling of collection instruments such as checks and promissory notes.

Perform periodic reconciliation of company accounts with distributor statements.

Conduct physical inventory counts, reconcile stock records, and monitor product expiry dates.

Prepare and submit daily financial and operational reports to the head office on a regular basis.

Work with
SalesBuzz
or equivalent systems to track and record financial transactions and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG or distribution sector.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control processes.

Experience with ERP systems and sales reporting tools (e.g., SalesBuzz).

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple distributor sites.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
