We are seeking a Regional Property Manager to join our leadership team and oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities. Position Summary

The Regional Property Manager (RPM) is responsible for supervising the daily operations of multiple residential communities. This role ensures that site-level teams meet organizational standards of Operational Excellence while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations, including Fair Housing, HUD, Tax Credit, and Rural Housing requirements. The RPM works closely with leadership to monitor property performance, foster strong resident services, and support community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise site-level personnel and ensure properties meet performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor budgets, financials, and rent collection procedures.
  • Oversee occupancy levels, move-in eligibility, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct quarterly unit inspections and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Review and approve accounts payable, payroll, and reserve requests.
  • Prepare and present property management reports for leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Foster positive resident relations, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, IIPP, and local landlord–tenant laws.
  • Collaborate with Resident Services and community organizations to enhance resident programs.

Qualifications

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent; valid CA driver’s license and insurance, Real Estate required or upon 6 months from hire.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field; Certified Property Manager or similar designation.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in property management (multi-family preferred).
  • Supervisory experience overseeing multiple properties and staff or 5+ years as a community manager.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, HUD, LIHTC, Rural Housing, and CA landlord–tenant law.
  • Proven financial management and budget accountability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
