For the Dallas, D.C., Denver, Houston, LA, or SF Office of a National Law Firm
Responsibilities include:

Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that strengthens the firm’s brand, supports business objectives, and enhances market positioning across all channels;

Maintain oversight of all internal and external communications, including web, social media, announcements, intranet, crisis communications, and executive messaging;

Direct the development of written and visual content by collaborating with attorneys, business development, creative teams, and external vendors to support campaigns and client engagement initiatives;

Oversee the planning, communication, and execution of large-scale events, including partner meetings, client programs, and leadership symposiums;

Advise senior leadership and attorneys on best practices for media relations, communications strategy, and crisis messaging; serve as the primary liaison with media outlets, agencies, and community organizations;

Manage the marketing communications budget, establish KPIs, and provide data-driven recommendations to ensure impactful, innovative, and measurable campaigns.
Qualifications include:

10 years+ of experience in marketing, communications, or business development roles; Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field required (advanced degree preferred);

Prior law firm or professional services industry experience strongly preferred, with a strong understanding of client development and marketing principles;

Proven leadership skills with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing marketing and communications professionals;

Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and accurate messaging;

Strong business and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment;

High degree of professionalism, adaptability, and sound judgment when interacting with senior leadership, clients, and external partners.
Salary: $170k-$215k Depending on location
