The Business Head is responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and revenue performance across all business functions. This role leads planning, sales, and financial management while building high-performing teams and expanding market presence. Focused on profitability, innovation, and ethical leadership, the Business Head ensures sustainable business success and long-term organizational impact.
Experience – Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the education sector
Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Business Head, your duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and revenue generation strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Formulate annual sales plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with company goals.
- Adjust strategies based on market trends, competitor activities, and performance insights.
2. Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day business operations across departments (sales, marketing, etc.).
- Ensure efficient resource utilization and streamline processes for maximum productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business targets are met.
3. Financial Planning and Budget Management
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and profit & loss (P&L) statements.
- Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize revenue generation and maintain cost-efficiency across departments
4. Team Leadership and Organizational Development
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven work culture.
- Oversee talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning.
5. Sales Execution and Channel Development:
- Drive national business targets and ensure achievement of quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Supervise sales teams, enforce forecasting accuracy, and maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Expand direct and indirect channel networks and forge strategic partnerships to boost market reach..
6. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and trends for revenue growth.
- Analyze competitor activities and industry shifts to fine-tune sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential markets and customer segments.
7. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies for customer retention and account growth.
8. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and trend analyses to senior management.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on sales data and market insights.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and outcomes.
9. Budget Management:
- Manage the national sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures as necessary.
- Maximize profitability while maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
10. Compliance and Ethical Standards:
- Ensure all sales and operational activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Promote a culture of ethics, transparency, and integrity across the organization.
- Address and resolve compliance or ethical issues promptly and effectively.
SALARY : 9 LPA and above based on skills and experience
