JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to drive business growth across the Middle Eastern and Pakistan agrochemical markets. The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for sales performance, market expansion, and strategic business development initiatives.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of agrochemicals and related chemistries, along with the ability to build strategic client relationships and identify new market opportunities. The initial focus will be on Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Iran, with potential expansion into North Africa and Turkey.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to support innovation-led solutions and deliver sustainable growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities (Functional Competencies):

  • Sales & Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the chemical and agrochemical sectors across the Middle East. The role will be based in Lahore or Multan and will require periodic travel to Middle Eastern markets as per an agreed schedule. The position will also support selected business development initiatives within Pakistan, with a focus on proprietary and niche chemistries currently under the patent application process.

A dedicated development laboratory in Multan will serve as a hands-on training and application platform, providing practical exposure to surfactant technologies and supporting customer engagement and technical development activities.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Technical Support & Product Training: Provide expert technical guidance to customers and internal sales teams on surfactant chemistry and agrochemical applications.
  • Competitive Analysis & Business Strategy: Conduct market research, monitor competitive activity, and develop effective sales and market strategies.
  • Collaborative Growth Initiatives: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to support sustainable business growth.
  • Sales Planning & Performance Metrics: Develop sales forecasts, KPIs, and revenue growth plans aligned with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in agri-inputs, agrochemicals , surfactants , specialty chemicals, polymer chemistries, or allied industries.
  • Strong techno-commercial mindset with hands-on exposure to formulation development (lab and plant scale), customer technical support, and field/application knowledge.
  • Prior experience in agrochemical or surfactant sales, technical support, business development, or technical marketing, particularly in agri-surfactants, biological products, or green/specialty chemistries.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of agri-surfactants, adjuvants, biological/green chemistries, specialty chemicals, or polymers, with the ability to translate technical value into commercial impact.
  • Proven techno-commercial sales and business development experience, including technical selling, key account management, long sales cycles, and contract negotiation.
  • Comfortable working with new and patent-pending chemistries, co-developing solutions, and collaborating closely with R&D and manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs279,870.00 - Rs419,805.00 per month
