About the Role

A major technology services provider is seeking an experienced Area Data Centre Manager to lead multi‑site data centre operations across the UAE. This senior leadership role oversees 24/7 operations, critical infrastructure, facility management, compliance, and team leadership to ensure operational resilience, uptime, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Data Centre Managers and engineering teams across multiple sites.
  • Oversee 24/7 data centre operations, maintenance, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure governance and consistency of SOPs/MOPs/EOPs and risk frameworks.
  • Act as senior escalation authority for major incidents.
  • Manage critical electrical & mechanical infrastructure ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, landlords, and authorities.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, safety requirements, and data centre standards.
  • Drive operational excellence through KPIs, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years in data centre or critical facilities operations.
  • 5+ years in senior/multi‑site management.
  • Deep expertise in:

- Data centre electrical and mechanical systems

- Large scale power distribution systems

- Commissioning and operation of critical infrastructure

- Vendor management and governance

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (HV/LV), UPS, generators, ATS/STS, switchgear, PDUs.
  • Proven experience with large‑scale technical environments requiring high uptime.

  • Experience managing operational schedules and training programs.
  • High proficiency with data centre governance, operational procedures, and documentation.
