At the core of our organization is a commitment to integrity, accountability, operational excellence, and people-first leadership. As we continue to grow across the Northeast, we are seeking an experienced and high-impact Regional Director of Human Resources to support and elevate HR operations across multiple skilled nursing and long-term care facilities throughout Massachusetts.
This is not an entry-level HR role. We are seeking a strategic operator who understands the pace, complexity, and regulatory environment of post-acute healthcare — someone who can lead from the front, build strong facility partnerships, and drive consistency across recruitment, retention, employee relations, compliance, and culture.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced multi-site healthcare environments and understands how strong HR leadership directly impacts staffing stability, employee engagement, regulatory success, and overall operational performance.
The Regional Director of Human Resources will oversee HR operations for a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities throughout Massachusetts. This individual will partner closely with Administrators, Regional Operations, Clinical Leadership, and Corporate Leadership to support workforce strategy, compliance, retention initiatives, investigations, onboarding practices, and leadership development.
This position requires routine travel to facilities within the assigned region.
Provide strategic HR leadership and operational support to multiple skilled nursing facilities
Partner with facility Administrators and regional leadership teams on employee relations, retention, and staffing initiatives
Lead and support investigations involving employee relations, policy violations, workplace concerns, and compliance matters
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including Massachusetts labor regulations
Support recruitment and onboarding initiatives alongside facility leadership and talent acquisition teams
Analyze turnover, retention, attendance, and staffing trends to identify operational opportunities
Mentor and develop facility-level HR leaders and business office personnel
Assist with performance management processes, corrective actions, unemployment claims, and terminations
Drive engagement initiatives and help foster a positive workplace culture across all facilities
Participate in leadership meetings, operational reviews, and facility support visits
Ensure HR processes remain compliant with healthcare regulations, company policies, and best practices
Minimum of 3–5 years of multi-site HR leadership experience required
Prior experience supporting skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare operations strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor laws, compliance, and healthcare workforce practices
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and facilities simultaneously
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Experience partnering directly with executive and operational leadership teams
Ability to travel routinely throughout Massachusetts
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification preferred, but not required
Competitive compensation package
Comprehensive benefits
Mileage reimbursement/travel support
High-level operational visibility and leadership partnership
Opportunity to make a measurable impact across a growing healthcare organization
Supportive executive leadership team with strong organizational backing
We are seeking leaders who understand that great healthcare organizations are built by great people. If you are a hands-on HR leader ready to drive operational excellence across a growing skilled nursing portfolio, we encourage you to apply.
