We are hiring for Regional Finance Manager - North for a Freight Forwarding Industry

Experience : 10–15 years of experience in Finance, Accounts, and Controlling

Qualification : CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.

Salary : Upto 15 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

# Financial Management & Reporting

Prepare and monitor regional annual budgets, aligning with business and market growth objectives.

Generate and review monthly management reports, P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and fund flow statements.

Provide analytical insights and financial performance reports to senior management.

Ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial transactions and reporting.

# Accounting & Compliance

Oversee all accounting operations including billing, receivables, payables, and reconciliations.

Ensure timely invoicing to customers and verification of vendor bills as per agreed terms.

Manage taxation compliance (TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements), ensuring timely payment and filing of returns.

Coordinate and resolve queries during statutory, internal, and ISO audits.

Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure compliance with ISO & AEO standards.

# Credit Control & Collections

Implement credit control strategies to minimize overdue receivables and improve cash flow.

Conduct periodic customer reconciliations and ensure NIL outstanding credits.

Set and monitor monthly collection targets and ensure achievement through regular follow-up.

Prepare receivables ageing reports and provide insights for management action.

# Vendor & Payables Management

Ensure timely processing and booking of vendor invoices.

Review vendor bills for accuracy and ensure proper deductions where applicable.

Conduct periodic reconciliation and obtain balance confirmations from vendors.

Maintain vendor KYC records and ensure compliance with company and statutory norms.

# Budgeting & Cost Control

Assist in preparing and controlling regional budgets, ensuring expenditure remains within approved limits.

Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs and recommend corrective measures.

Support cost optimization initiatives without compromising service quality.

# Team Leadership & Process Improvement

Supervise and guide the Finance & Accounts team across Northern India.

Conduct performance appraisals, employee training, and mentoring sessions.

Promote a positive, collaborative, and compliant work environment.

Develop and implement SOPs to enhance efficiency and process consistency.

# Operational Coordination

Liaise with internal departments, auditors, banks, and statutory authorities.

Support business operations through timely financial inputs and decision support.

Ensure compliance with all internal policies, audit controls, and ISO standards.

Key Skills :

# Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.

# Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.

# Experience in budgeting, audit handling, and management reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
