Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Food Service Director to oversee the food service operations across several of our nursing home facilities in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality nutrition and dining experiences to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the food service operations across multiple nursing home facilities in New Jersey.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety and dietary requirements for long-term care facilities.
• Develop and implement menu plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate food service staff, ensuring high standards of performance and service.
• Collaborate with facility management and nursing staff to ensure seamless meal service and resident satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and procurement processes to maintain cost-efficiency and quality.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and staff to ensure dining needs are being met.
• Ensure that food service departments meet budgetary requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management, Dietetics, or related field preferred.

• Experience in food service management, with a leadership role, preferably in healthcare or long-term care settings.

• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and dietary guidelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple locations.
• A compassionate and customer-service-oriented approach to serving elderly residents.
