Regional HR Business Partner

Who we are:
Taher, Inc. is a 44-year-old, privately owned food service management company. We are fortunate to be experiencing solid growth and want to keep that going with the right hire. We love food, hospitality, tackling challenges with our peers, growth (in all its definitions) and having fun. Chefs and service are our passion.

Requirements:
  • 5 years food service leadership experience required, contract food service preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in instructional design, educational technology, organization design, talent management, organizational psychology, human resources or related discipline, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work in agile and iterative way in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to think conceptually, develop strategies and drive execution to achieve quantifiable outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flex to various audiences
  • Ability to partner with and influence all levels of management and employees
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, project management and change management skills
  • Skilled at prioritizing and working under time constraints, handling multiple tasks, and working independently while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments.
  • Passion for a "roll up your sleeves" and design/contribute environment while managing through ambiguity
  • Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills; lead by example; enjoy working with others in a collaborative, social environment; effective at building and maintaining strong relationships

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
  • Position offices out of Dallas, Texas
  • Travel throughout the southern region required
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
