Regional Lean Manager

We are looking for a Regional Lean Manager for our client. Our client is a global FMCG company.

This role is Responsible for leading the continuous improvement strategy and the industrial digital transformation roadmap within the MEA region. This role integrates Lean Manufacturing principles with Industry 4.0 technologies and automation solutions to optimize business results, ensuring alignment with group standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.


Responsibilities:


  • Develops and leads continuous improvement projects and activities designed to improve performance and contribute to a wider understanding of lean management perspective across MEA region,
  • Ensures that continuous improvement projects comply with management team strategy and cooperates with key business stakeholders while developing new project initiatives,
  • Supports all participants across MEA region for deployment of improvement projects,
  • Contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to improve operational performance,
  • Contributes to new business initiatives and projects, also reviews and communicates the impact on lean activities,
  • Visits MEA region plants to analyze current conditions and needs, collects data on problems and issues with a detailed focus and proposes solutions,
  • Directly manages and supports the Factory 4.0 Regional Project Executive and Factory 4.0 Regional Automation Leader, ensuring their individual objectives align with the regional industrial strategy,
  • Facilitates the sharing of lessons learned from Factory 4.0 implementations to support roll-outs in other plants,
  • Follows technology changes that may affect Lean and Industrial activities and advises others of any impact.


Qualifications:

  • Min. bachelor degree from engineering departments of universities, graduate degree may be an asset,
  • Min. 8 years of experience on lean methodologies in industrial companies, with exposure to Industry 4.0, automation, or digital manufacturing projects.
  • Kaizen, 5S,TPM, TPS qualification,
  • Food or chemistry industry background may be preferable,
  • Fluency in English is a must,
  • Strong interest for factories visit and shopfloor walks.
  • Understanding of OT/IT architectures, industrial data management, and advanced production technologies.
