POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Regional Sales Director
Date: October 3, 2023
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports to: National Healthcare Sales Director
Pay range: $110,000 - $130,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and lead all key customer account activity including accurate annual sales forecasting, budget forecasting, order management and product management.

Prospect new account opportunities for all brands including private label and branded solutions to meet annual sales goals.

Support all National Customers and regional events including in service trainings, sales meetings, product training sessions, etc.

Prepare quarterly customer updates and sales presentations.

Prepare and update annual customer business plans for all existing and new.

Solicit orders for Drylock with current and future customers by developing a relationship of trust with them.

Know Drylock products and how they compare to the competition to solicit orders more effectively. Leverage this knowledge to conduct sales trainings and end user in service as needed.

Inform customers about the benefits of Drylock products versus those of the competition (product performance, features and benefits, etc.) to solicit orders more effectively.

Monitor and evaluate competitor’s activities, products, and pricing for purposes of developing solicitation strategies.

Know Drylock’s quality standards, plant production capabilities and lead times to effectively solicit orders and set proper customer expectations.

Establish and develop accounts from which to solicit orders that increase company revenue in the following markets: long-term care, home care, acute care, and managed care.

Meet region annual sales goals in support of Drylock U.S.A. annual forecast and as directed by the Vice President of Sales.

Develop and implement strategic order solicitation methods to achieve corporate goals

Conduct solicitation-forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.

As part of the solicitation process, represent company at trade association meetings to promote products

Prepare files concerning solicitation activities (pricing request forms, weekly solicitation report, quarterly strategic solicitation plan, etc.).

Must be able to travel frequently.

Manage all expenses within annual budget deployed by Vice President of Sales.
Education and Experience:
-
Solicitation experience required with institutional customers; adult incontinent products industry preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required, in Business Administration, Nursing, Sales, or Marketing degree preferred.
